Summer Sprint Round 3

The Lanier Raceplex 2020 Rental Kart SPRINT League Race Series will include 5 double-race events, 10 races total, running on Thursday evenings, generally between 6 pm and 9:30 pm, at 2-week intervals.
$320 per driver, prepaid, for the 5-event, 10-race series (save $80)
Optional: $80 per driver, per event (late entry, add $15)
Round 1: Jun 25 (late entry June 21)

Two weight divisions available. A maximum of 15 drivers per division. Drivers age 16 and higher unless observed to have significant prior kart racing experience. Underweight drivers can add ballast to reach minimum weight for the class. Ballast weights must be portable. Ballast can be a weighted seat insert, a weight belt temporarily strapped around the base of the central tank, or a driver can wear a weight vest or ankle weights. After each race, the top four finishers in each class will be weighed with any ballast used. Depending on number of entries, race groups may be run together or in separate sessions. Karts will be randomly assigned.
Red: Driver weight minimum 170 lbs. (including any ballast)
Blue: Driver weight minimum 200 lbs. (including any ballast)
A Series Champion will be recognized in each division determined by points awarded for finishing positions in each race. A driver must finish at least 6 races (3 events) to be eligible for the series championship. The series champion will be determined by total points earned in the driver’s 8 best finishes.

5 bonus points for fastest lap time in each race.
Series Championship tie breakers will be the number of firsts, seconds, thirds, etc.
If still tied, the finishing position in the final race will determine the champion.
